A couple of weeks ago, I gave a presentation on Fun, Whimsical & Crazy Gardens at the Successful Gardening Show at the International Center, Toronto. What made me come up with this topic, you ask? Well..
The show’s organizer, Pat Gramsch, told me that this year’s theme was Ricky Nelson’s 1972 hit song, Garden Party.
Well, that opened up a whole slew of thoughts…it started off with garden parties and then to having fun in the garden. And if you having fun in the garden doesn’t that naturally lead to being loose and creative in the garden? And the meander into whimsical and those way-out-there gardens began.
Because each topic (Fun, Whimsical, and Crazy) are huge topics for a single blog, I’m dividing them up into three. Expect the first installment this week…
